Shana is a former senior editor for Ladies' Home Journal, MAMM, and Woman's World, in addition to writing for print and online outlets such as Parents, Babble, Scary Mommy, and many others. In 2014, she launched her second career as a preschool educator, where the work environment is messier and noisier but no less rewarding. Shana has also been a contributor to The List and Nicki Swift since 2020.

Education

Shana earned her bachelor's degree in English from William and Mary and her master's degree in early childhood education from Queens College. She holds a professional early childhood teaching certificate.
