Experience

Sam began her career as a student journalist writing for the Daily Kent Stater in 2008. She wrote community impact stories as a reporter for Sun News and cleveland.com, and later became a statewide reporter for The Bucks County Beacon, where she focused on education, healthcare, and reproductive rights. She also self-published a children's book, "The Light Inside Your Heart," in 2021. She joined Static Media in 2026 as a food news writer for Mashed and later transitioned to Mom.com, where she feels aligned and at home bringing her passion and first-hand experience to readers and fellow parents.

Education

Sam earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Kent State University.
