As a mom of an exclusively formula-fed baby, we go through a lot of infant formula. So, as you can imagine, the empty cans start piling up. I always feel bad throwing them away, but what else can you do? One creative mom on TikTok actually came up with a genius hack to turn empty formula cans into a unique take on candy bag party favors.
In the social media video, the creator made custom labels for her old formula cans in honor of her child Adriel's first birthday. She then attached new labels that were adorably Disney-themed to the cans, took off the lids, added a handle using a pipe cleaner, and filled the buckets with candy and other goodies to give to party guests. If you don't want to go through the process of creating your own label, you can always remove the old formula label and spray paint the cans in a fun, vibrant color instead. While the mom opted for including a variety of candy and snacks in the buckets, you could go in a different direction, including items like Play-Doh, small crafts, or beach and sandbox toys. For toddlers, bubbles, coloring books and crayons, and chalk are other great options.

Another uses them for mini trash cans, which would also be great in the car. Many moms like to use formula cans for their kids' toy storage. You could fill it with Legos, tiny Barbie shoes and accessories, toy cars, and any other small items that tend to get lost.
